Peralta
The getaway. This place is a little further down south then the other beachs.
Although its close enough, most people don´t check it often and that results in a lesser occupied place to surf.
Nevertheless, this beach is packed with good breaks verying from sand bottoms to reef bottoms.
The predominant northern swell makes that the further south you check waves the further away you will be from the shadow that is created from the Peniche peninsula making that Peralta is normally giving you bigger waves in comparison to the other beaches.
Everybody has stories about Peralta. One of the main features is a very large sand bank that accumulates on the northern half of the beach which creates one of the gnarliest right-handers around. Barrels and smash-able lips are what should be on your mind when making your way down to this beach.
