It was on the beach of Azurara, Vila do Conde, where the third event of the 2015 SURFaddict (Portuguese Surf Adapted Association) was held. After stints in Portimão and St. Torpes, the adapted surf already headed to the north of the country. The event was scheduled to start at 10 am and took ran up to 16 hours. Ericeira surf was well represented.
This event was also organized by Surfin Vila do Conde and was made possible by an application of this school to take surfing adapted to the north. This is the first time the SURFaddict was spreading smiles to Vila do Conde.

«The expectations we had for this event were huge and totally fulfilled»,said Nuno Gonçalves, from Surfin Vila do Conde. «We have done some work with some local institutions and membership has been great. We expected a great event and this is a job that is going to continue for years to come», he said.
Thus, surfers and volunteers only had to appear on beach Azurara Beach to experience the feeling of sliding on magnificent waves. Participation in the event was free, and the organization provided food snacks for all participants. The Portuguese Surfing Federation, the Hydrographic Office and the Municipality of Vila do Conde were the institutional partners of the event, which also included local support Jewellers Gaveto, Spiral Surfboards, Pastry Forninho, Hostel Bellamar, Santana Hotel, «The Master» Restaurant and Paul Stinger Productions.
The official partners of SURFaddict for 2015 were the Ericeira Surf & Skate, the Lisbon Marriott Hotel, the JT - design & advertising and Marlin Fins. The SurfTotal, the Beachcam and SurfPortugal were the media partners and the M80 was the official radio and FUEL TV the official television.
